Introducing our Graduates
Introducing our Graduates
Becky Lipnick

In our recent posts, we showcased "A Day in the Life" for some of our students, members and staff and learned about the broader Vista community through our Vista survey. As the summer draws to a close, we are excited to introduce you to a few individuals who have accomplished a significant milestone this year...Vista's 2020 graduates!

In graduating from Vista's Discover Program (our residential transition program), the Class of 2020 worked hard to learn the skills necessary to live independently while developing friendships and goals for their future. This year, our graduates faced the added challenge of adapting to COVID-19, but they persevered by being resilient and focused on their goals while remembering the importance of remaining flexible during these uncertain times.

As we begin counting down to Vista's upcoming graduation on August 21*, we will be providing you with the opportunity to get to know the students of our 2020 graduating class by spotlighting one student in each of our upcoming posts.

We hope you enjoy learning a little bit more about our Vista graduates! More to come...

*Similar to schools across the nation, our graduation plans will be modified this year. Although the ceremony may look different than in the past, it will still be a meaningful celebration of our students' accomplishments. We appreciate your patience as we thoughtfully adjust our plans to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation. Details for graduation will be forthcoming.
