Community Involvement & Engagement
At Vista Life Innovations (Vista), community involvement is the core part of our mission to empower individuals (18+) with disabilities to live full, independent lives. Our outreach and engagement efforts foster a sense of belonging while building a network of support throughout the shoreline region and beyond.
Our Approach to Community Engagement
Vista actively cultivates relationships with individuals, businesses, nonprofits, schools, and civic organizations. Through these partnerships, we promote inclusivity, create opportunities, and build awareness about the potential and contributions of neurodiverse adults.
Key Objectives:
- Increase Awareness: Share Vista’s mission and impact through public events, workshops, and local partnerships
- Build Relationships: Collaborate with schools, employers, and organizations to create a supportive and inclusive network
- Encourage Volunteerism: Engage community members to give their time and talents through structured opportunities
- Support Fundraising: Invite participation in campaigns and events that make our services accessible to more individuals
- Promote Inclusivity: Champion the value of diversity and inclusion in every interaction and program
