It's Grease Week!

VISTA BLOG

May Core Value Highlight: Personal Development
We have high expectations for ourselves and others, encourage curiosity, and support opportunities to grow and learn.

Put on your leather jacket, slick back your hair, and hop into Greased Lightning because it’s Grease week! The annual show put on by Vista and A Shared Stage Productions is happening this weekend at the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook. Over the last three months the actors, stage crew, and director team have been hard at work to make this year’s event amazing.

The whole cast reading through their lines with Director Neil Fuentes

Due to the support of the Vista community, and the support of the shoreline community, we have sold out all four shows! All the cast and crew are so excited to be performing in front of four back-to-back sold-out shows! If you can’t make it to this year’s show, we hope you’ll come next year!

Vista Discover student Jimmy practices his lines

This is the first Vista production that Discover student Jimmy has participated in, playing the role of one of the T-Birds. The director team has been so impressed with students and members like Jimmy who are also new to the stage. Everyone has gotten so comfortable with their lines, is working as a team, and shows up for every rehearsal ready to learn more.

Thank you to all of our sponsors!

We would also like to thank the Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center for once again providing us with such an incredible venue to perform in. If you can’t make it to our show, then check out their other shows at www.katharinehepburntheater.org.

More to come…
