Vista will be emphasizing the Core Value of Diversity for the next two months! There are multiple ways to learn something or complete a task as seen in the Vista community.

The well-known Vista credo "Uniqueness is Power" truly exemplifies the value of diversity here at Vista, where we express an understanding and appreciation for individuals and their differences. Diversity can be seen in Vista art classes where members interact with one another and share their unique skills, interests, and knowledge through a wide range of creative mediums. Engage member Zach shares: “The arts constantly teach me about the value of diversity. Putting an idea or design on canvas can be done in countless ways…something I truly enjoy.”

Students enrolled in the Discover ProgramVista's transition program–live and study in our Westbrook Dormitory and shoreline community. Alex and residential Ocean, Discover students, are new to the program, each bringing their unique set of interests and talents. They are both excited to have access to a wide calendar of events and happenings at Vista, including recreational and creative activities, in addition to their weekly program.

In celebration of the Core Value: Diversity, we asked the Vista community to contribute images of themselves using their Vista Core Values calendar during our recent Vista Blog kickoff. It was amazing to see the many different ways the calendar is used.
