We have proven success in helping individuals achieve meaningful adult lives that include work, independence, and friendship. Your support will help further these efforts and directly impact the lives of individuals with disabilities.
Whether you want to support Vista in carrying out its mission, make a gift so students and members can experience “extra opportunities”, or wish to show your support with a gift to our financial aid fund, Vista has a donation program to meet your intent.
Annual Appeal and Unrestricted Gifts:
Monies donated to Vista’s Annual Appeal support Vista’s overall operations, services and training. These donations help keep the quality of our services high. Gifts made to Vista via the Annual Appeal enhance our ability to continue our good work with our students and members.
Student/Member Enrichment Fund:
This fund was established in 2006 to help Vista provide some of the “extras” that enhance the lives of students and members. This fund has provided large and meaningful benefits to students and members for nearly 15 years by underwriting events, items and activities that are not a part of Vista’s regular service delivery. Examples include experiential/learning day trips and underwriting of elements of our annual play production allowing for participation in this significantly impactful event to be offered at no cost to our students and members.
Edward Gallant Financial Aid Fund:
This fund provides need-based assistance to help underwrite essential services for students and members in Vista’s Discover Program and Engage Long-Term Support programs. This fund is named in honor of Edward Gallant, Vista’s first General Counsel and a great champion of Vista who spent his life working on behalf of individuals in need.
Make a gift to Vista in Honor or Memory of a friend or loved-one. As a distinct gift, separate from our Annual Appeal, gifts made to Vista “in Tribute” are recognized as such in our Annual Report.
Vista Endowment Fund:
Vista established an endowment fund in 2006 to provide a foundation and security for the future. Governed by its own Board of Directors, like most endowments, donations to the Vista Endowment Fund are invested for long-term use, and a percentage of the income produced from these investments may be awarded to Vista annually. In this way, a strong financial foundation is built for the organization.
Vista New Heights Program:
New Heights is a Southeastern Connecticut-based program of Vista Life Innovations for neurodiverse young adults. Donations to this fund support New Heights’ operating budget, including our programming that centers around five core training areas: Life Skills, Cognitive and Social Behavior, Community Integration, Vocational Training, and Post-Secondary Options for Training and Education.
